Ji and Mana

Well, this here is an old sketch (at least over one year old) - I wanted to 'rescue' it a little bit, but I'm not sure if the contours looks better now...

Anyways, the background is my real little one to be worried about. Don't, and I mean don't, ask my how this here came to my mind. I wanted something, that looks like... yeah, something that fits the little naive and really positive aura of kids. And so I made a really random background - my other random ones have always a little concept.

O.k., let's come to my little friends here.

Ji has this simple name for a Jirachi because my first one was from Pokémon Channel - with the regular name of this Pokémon, of course. So, he originally was supposed to be called 'Sternchen' (little star) by me - but it was to annoying for me to call him with a 'false' name. Because of this, I came to this little nickname for him - Ji. And I decided, that this name is really fitting for my cheerful, funny and kind-hearted Jirachi.

My Manaphy is a girl (who cares about the title 'prince of the sea'? It looks [and sounds] like a girl to me, point) - and because this name really exist and I didn't wanted a drama like this one with Jis name, I decided in the past, when Manaphy was published, to give her a name that would prevent any problems -> simply Mana (I couldn't know if my first Manaphy would be my own or this of another trainer).

So, Ji and Mana are best friends and like siblings - both boisterous, quite intelligent and in any ways lovely. While Ji is the little quipster, Mana is the little socialite. Both are at Lv. 100 and really strong, even for their own race.

They are more or less teenagers, but often behave like kids - just Ji is older than Mana, so he sometimes wants to be a good example for her, what most ends like he was treating Mana really cold and reserved. Maybe he has problems about being the older one - the one, who would be first adult. And the one, who is confused about the feelings for his 'sister', because Mana is for him more important than any other Pokémon - in a way, that he can't really explain.
