Old Design option gone

As somebody who still went with the former design when Eclipse arrived, I must say I struggle now a lot with the bare idea to use DA when I am seemingly forced to go with the 'modern' style. (I hadn't heard of the final update earlier, so I'm salty as hell now. If you wanna argue with me, forget about it.)
Not sure at the moment, if I will leave DA because of the ultimate layout-change, but I definitely have less motivation than before to upload stuff here. :stares frustrated at "Now I Know The Truth" which is yet exclusive to ArchiveOfOurOwn:
->Honestly, I have great trouble to navigate when everything is unnecessarily flashy. It even took me a moment to find the option to write a Journal-entry.

My channel is only a pretty small one, yet I love uploading my remixes plus drawings, and would be very upset if I couldn't share that stuff anymore with others in case my videos would be branded as "for kids". (Or worse, if the new system would terminate my channel.) That's why I'm personally interested into preventing COPPA from destroying YouTube the way we all got to know it.

Sooo, I couldn't fix the .swf-file-problem, but I learned that I can use this YouTube-Window in Text-Deviations, too, so for now that will have to suffice. (Although I should learn how to tweak the window-size.)
